About the Role
As a Member Success Coach, you are the warm welcome and guiding hand that helps new members confidently step into their fitness journey. Your primary focus will be to ensure every new member feels supported, informed, and empowered as they navigate the gym, learn to use equipment safely, and get connected with our amazing group fitness classes.
Requirements
Welcome & Orientation:
Greet new members with enthusiasm and guide them through an initial gym orientation,
including a walk-through of facilities, policies, and key programs.
Equipment Support:
Demonstrate proper use of cardio and strength equipment, ensuring members
understand safe form and machine adjustments tailored to their fitness level.
Group Fitness Connection:
Help members find group classes that fit their goals, introduce them to instructors, and
encourage class attendance. Follow up after their first few sessions to offer support and
motivation.
Goal Setting & Accountability:
Assist new members with setting realistic, personalized goals. Offer check-ins during
their first few weeks to build rapport and keep them on track.
Build Confidence & Belonging:
Create a supportive and inclusive environment where every member—regardless of
experience level—feels seen, capable, and excited to be part of the JMF community.
Track Engagement:
Maintain simple records of new member interactions, follow-ups, and class attendance
to ensure successful onboarding
Who You Are
Passionate about women's wellness and fitness
Outgoing, approachable, and an excellent communicator
Confident in demonstrating gym equipment and promoting group fitness
Certified Personal Trainer or will to obtain certification
Able to motivate and encourage women at all stages of their journey
Organized, dependable, and excited to be part of a team that changes lives
